ahhh actually ive been trying to come up with new soulmate tropes recently!! unfortunately nothing’s sprung to mind yet but my fav for kurotsuki now would definitely be the reincarnation soulmate au!!

they’ll have gone through many lifetimes, some as lovers, some as enemies, some lives where they never even met, and they retain memories of those lifetimes and in every timeline they’re trying to find the happiness they want but in exchange for the chance at this “happiness” they are to give up their memories which will only come back if they manage to find each other in their “last lifetime”
